History
Humble beginnings as a small family business
We started in 2006, when Ian Johnson and Stuart Johnson set up Oneline Surveys Ltd. Back then, it was two CCTV survey vans and a small set of specialist equipment.
Six family members ended up working in the business as we grew into a respected regional provider of drainage surveying, cleaning and environmental services.
From two vans to a full fleet
Committed to technical excellence with a reputation for reliability, we kept investing in our people and equipment. Our capabilities expanded across CCTV drainage surveys, syphon cleaning, tanker operations, deep suction work, and confined-space services.
By 2021, we'd grown to a team of around 30 people with 20 specialist vehicles.
Joining the Adler & Allan Group
In 2021, we joined the Adler & Allan Group. This was a turning point and let us take our specialist services to customers right across the country, not just our region.
The partnership gave us more reach, better resources, and the ability to support national infrastructure projects at scale.
Same values, delivered nationwide
Today, we've grown from a small family business into a team of nearly 100 people working nationwide.
The values that shaped the business from day one – quality, integrity, and hands-on expertise – are still at the centre of everything we do.
